So today while reading Genesis, it was really interesting to think about Rebekah, even though she may not have been the main character in the story. God had told her before her children were even born that Jacob would rule over Esau. Yet, Rebekah lacked patience, and took matters into her own hands. God still delivered what He said would happen, but I think it's important to think about how vital patience is, and how important it is to wait for God's perfect timing. Patience is something we work on until we die; we learn about patience in some areas of our lives, but we realize through life experiences where patience is still lacking.
